This impressionistic painting was done with oils and it shows a close up, partial view of a sunflower. We have a small field in nearby Homestead that I passed by some time back and it was such an unusual and lovely sight to see several hundred sunflowers in our area! Sunflowers are definitely one of my favorite, make me smile flowers!
