White Zinnia

Copyright 2010 Maria Soto Robbins

This impressionistic painting was inspired by the little potted white zinnia flowers that our blooming in my front entryway. It has a textured impasto throughout and was done with brushes and palette knives. I used oils and painted to the sides for a modern take on this lovely flower.

Dimension: 20x24x.75 gallery wrap canvas

Hi Maria: I enjoyed viewing the Hyacinth painting...they fill the house with scent, don't they. Had to move them off my dining room table, though, their scent was fighting with the shrimp scampi! ;) Linda, UWIB
