Royal Poinciana Caminito
I can hardly wait for the summer when this tree will be blooming all over south Florida again. I wrote about that here.
This impressionistic impasto oil painting was done with palette knives and brushes on gallery wrapped artist canvas. The blooms on the tree have raised impasto flowers, almost three dimensional and the entire painting is very textured. Click here to see Royal Poinciana Caminito in my Etsy shop.
