Inspirational Home Studio Spaces

I love to check out studios of other artists. Don't you? Visit their work space on the web, I mean. I guess I'm nosy but you can tell a lot about a person by their creative surroundings, don't you think? My home studio needs help but not in an organizational manner. I just need a bigger space and I don't think I'm going to add another room anytime soon. So, in the meantime, I'll keep dreaming...
Chris Orlikowski has an art studio that is wonderful in every respect. Here she explains the inspiration and construction of her work space. It was a very involved project with new construction in a free standing building adjacent to her house but well worth it, I'm sure.

This is the art studio of Laura Trevey. She's a watercolorist and I love her cheerful, bright and well organized space.
Do it yourself network (DIYnetwork) shows you how to build this art table and how to create an idea wall for inspirational pictures.

This space is in a new model home so, I think, it's totally impractical, but remember, I'm dreaming here and the space is awesome. Big windows throughout and dark floors to hide all the splatters! And cool track lights-love those! You can see more pictures here of this space. Thanks to Lauren Fay for the inspiration photos.

I know what you mean, Kim. I'm lucky to have the space that I do (even though it's tiny) but I so envy the addition that Chris did, in particular!lol
