Cafecito & Lime

Copyright 2010 Maria Soto Robbins

This is my morning ritual! I love cuban coffee (a little cafecito) with a wisp of lime! I did it with oil paints and the foam is rich impasto. Wonderful to share with a friend!

ACEO stands for Art Card Edition Original, miniature original paintings or prints, a mere 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches in size. They are affordable works of art that can be framed, kept in albums, in your wallet, used as a bookmark, or anywhere you like! ACEO's are a wonderful way to build a collection of art miniatures from a wide range of artists at a fraction of the price of a large-scale original.

Cafe Cubano and Lime

Copyright 2009 Maria Soto Robbins

Another in a series of cuban coffee paintings~~

This impressionistic painting was done with brushes and palette knives and shows a demitasse full of Cuban coffee together with the typical steaming Italian espresso coffee maker and cut lime. Thick, impasto foam on the coffee!
This is my favorite way to have coffee!

Dimension: 8x10 gallery wrapped canvas

Media: Oils

Mojito & Havana Club

Mojito & Havana Club

I just listed these two 8x10 paintings on Etsy. They show my absolute, most favorite drink in the world (after water ;) . Mojitos are made with mint, lime, soda (Sprite, 7 Up, gaseosa, etc), some sugar, and of course, rum. They are so refreshing. It even taste good without the rum! They are a favorite among Cubans and if anybody out there is interested, I can post the recipe.
These two paintings would be a nice present for dad's bar for Father's Day!
$50.00 for both or $35.00 each individually.
