Beach & Straw Hat Vista

I've been thinking about doing this painting for a really long time. Finally, it's done and finished. It's a simple panoramic view of a beach with a straw hat and some palm fronds showing through on one of the panels. I'd like the viewer to see it and immediately RELAX! At least that's the effect it has on me! I love the beach and I wish I had a nearby hammock hanging from a palm tree in our favorite part of Miami Beach (that would be around 41 street and Collins Ave;).

Lightly varnished to protect it from dust and ensure longevity.

Dimension: 24x30x.75 gallery wrap canvas (3 canvases each 8x10x.75)

Miami Beach Leslie Hotel

This is the third and last Miami Beach painting for the week. It shows a partial view of the Leslie Hotel on Ocean Drive in South Beach with the distinct Art Deco architectural eyebrows (above the windows). The palm fronds have thick impasto paint and it's set against a brilliant, sunny day.

Have a great week-end!

Dimention: 8x10 canvas panel
