This past winter was unusually cold in south Florida, and consequently my plants have suffered. The hibiscus were dormant and it's just been in the last two weeks that they've begun blooming like usual. I have a pink variety that are very vibrant. This impressionistic painting was inspired by my one of these lovely hibiscus flowers.
Varnished to protect it from dust and ensure longevity.
This would make a lovely Mother's Day gift!
