We love walking along the west side of Ocean Drive on Miami Beach and see the many cafés, hotels, and galleries but across the street, you have the beach behind Lummus Park and that view is usually more serene and lovlier.
This impressionistic painting was done in oils with palette knife and brushes and it shows the beach/park side of Ocean Drive as you're looking north. It has raised, thick, impasto throughout.
