Yellow Buttercup

I have yellow buttercups that have sprouted all over my yard. My father, the proverbial gardener, brought some little saplings that he had pulled from his own garden, to share with me. I planted them over 10 years ago and they're still going strong! Every time I see a new seedling sprouting from some unsuspecting spot, I think of "Papi" who is no longer with us but his spirit of  generosity and love continues to bloom in my garden.

This impressionistic oil painting has already found a happy home but you can click here for prints and cards from FineArtAmerica.
